Choir History


Performances in Poland:

  • 1975 - Festival of Polish and Russian Songs in Wielkopolska in Poznań - a prize;
  • 1976 - Festival of Songs about Fatherland in Krasnik- 1st place;
  • 1978 - "Academia Cantat" in Szczecin;
  • 1982 - International Choir Music Festival in Międzyzdroje - "Golden Lire" award; later the choir was awarded at the same competiotion in 1986;
  • 1983 - Turnament of Polish Choirs "Legnica Cantat" - 2. prize;
  • 1988, 1991 and 1993 Academic Choirs' Confrontations in Wrocław;
  • 2007 - the Passion Music Competition in Bydgoszcz - the choir was awarded gold price and in its category was 2nd with the score 97/100 points

The choir has also repeatedly participated in cycles of concerts organized in Poznań: the Town Hall Serenades since 1978, Musica Sacra since 1980, Cancionum Civitas Posnaniense since 1982, "Choirs, Orchestras and..." since 1993 - the cycle organized by Filharmony of Poznań and "Macierz" - the Union of Choirs and Orchestras of Wielkopolska, the Saintmartin's Concerts since 1993 and the Choral Celebrations hosted by the University of Economics since 1992, the co-organizer of which is the "Sonantes"choir. .

  • Italy in 1997: II International Choir Festival and Competition "In... canto sul Garda" in Riva del Garda - 3 Silver Diplomas
  • Austria in 1999: International Steyr's Choir Competition in Graz,
  • Austrai in 2000: The Olimpic Choir Games in Linz - 3 Silver Medals,
  • Czech Republic in 2001: 1st International Choir Competiotion "Musica Sacra Praha" in Prague - silver award,
  • Hungary in 2002: International Choir Festival "Vivace" in Veszprem - main prize in regional musik category
  • Italy in 2003: V International Choir Festival and the Competition "In... canto sul Garda" in Riva del Garda - 2 Silver Diplomas,
  • Czech Republic in 2004: XIV International Advent and Christmas Songs Competition in Prague - 1st place in the category of small choirs; the choir’s conductor Hanna Malicka won the special award for the best conductor of the competition,
  • Holand in 2005 - Festival in Arnhem,
  • Slovakia in 2006 - 1st International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music in Bratislava - silver award.
